The planning inspectorate have recently released a briefing letter to Councilsfollowing a review of Tree Preservation Order (TPO) appeals in the past couple of years. The letter sets out problems that have arrisen at appeal which should have been resolved prior to appeal. It has found that there have been a number of common errors across Councils. There are a total of 12 common issues which have been highlighted from the Councils Decision and Conditions through to unclear descriptions of works which have been accpted.
